I saw this first via you, Dean, then via Ed Felton, then via slashdot. Neither of them attributed the catch to you. /. didn't attribute Felton either. Geez, talk about giving credit where credit is due...
One question I've seen asked: why didn't the USians say anything about it earlier? The answer, of course, is that they wanted to make sure they knew what they had before they said anything about it. Okay, fair enough. I haven't seen anyone take this line of questioning to the next step: why didn't the Spanish team wait? It looks like they announced it as soon as they possibly could.
